• How can I reply to an ad?
  Go to the ad and click on 'Contact Seller' to send a message. Some ads contain other contact information like a phone number or web site that you can use to get in touch.
  
  
• I've lost my password! Help!
  Please go to the Retrieve Lost Password page. You must have access to the e-mail account you signed up with in order to recover your password.
  
  
• I posted my ad. Now where can people find it?
  Once posted, your ad will show up under relevant categories under the locations you selected. It will also show up in search listings. Your ad may not show up right away. Some ads must be approved by our staff. Ads which are illegal, absuive, or otherwise violate the Terms of Use may be removed without warning.
  
  
• Can I post pictures with my ad?
  You may attach up to five pictures to your ad for free. Simply click on the edit button on your listing and select 'Edit Photos' on your My Account - Active Listing page.
  
  
• I wish to delete my account completely.
  You may completely delete your account at any time by clicking 'Delete my account' on your Account page. If you choose to delete your account, all your ads and other information will be removed from the site right away. This is not reversible.
  
  
• How do I know if someone is a fraud or running a scam on me?

Please understand that SimplyClassify.com is a freely available service to help buyers and sellers (and etc.) find one another. SimplyClassify.com is not involved in any transactions and can not police or be responsible for the actions of our several users.

Here are some tips to avoid fraud on SimplyClassify.com or anywhere on the Internet:

  • Deal with people in your area.
    The vast majority of scammers will contact you from another country or somewhere far away. The best way to avoid scams is to deal locally, in person.
    
    
  • Do not wire funds (via Western Union, etc.).
    If you are asked to wire funds, you are talking to a scammer.
    
    
  • Beware of fake cashier checks and money orders.
    Fakes are common and banks may even cash them. But when the fraud is discovered you may be liable.
    
    
  • Never share your private info.
    Anyone asking for bank account numbers, login info, or social security is a scammer.
    
    
  • Avoid shipping and escrow.
    Scammers commonly employ fake, online escrow services.
